Duck shooting

So, this weekend I went duckshooting with a guy called Sam Scott. Kirsty drove me up to his house and when I got there all the other had already arrived. His house was really big and they had a huge roast of all sorts of meat, bread and other food out on the table. He introduced me to everyone and I ate so much food I couldn't eat anymore. Kirsty prepared me for the worst, since most duck shooters go up to their MaiMai (the hut from where they shoot ducks) the evening before and sleep there. When I asked Sam whether we we're going to go down or not, he replied we'd just stay in the house, which made me really happy, because it was freezing that night. We got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and put on really warm clothes. We drove up to the MaiMai, where all the other guys were already waiting for us. They had all fake ducks on the pond to lure the ducks in. Also they had these duck calls that they used all they long. We went inside and got all the guns out. They started shooting about fifteen minutes later and the first ducks we're starting to come in. We used to dog to fetch the ducks from the pond and sometimes you had to twist its neck because it wasn't completely dead yet. We shot about 50 ducks during the day. So that would be in approximately 9 hours. This week I'm going to Invercargill, which is one of the biggest cities in the area. The weekend isn't sure yet, but on monday we'll take the entire class on a trip to Dunedin. Dunedin is a relatively big city on the west-coast of New-Zealand. They have penguins, dolphins and albatrosses.

Het is inmiddels dinsdag na ons half gelukte skypecontact. Ik vond het in ieder geval fijn je ff live te zien met baard en je stem te horen. Jullie zijn echte eendenbeulen! Just forr fun met een biertje op die trage beesten afknallen...Er is zeker geen wet die dat verbiedt??
Natuurlijk hoop ik dat je vandaag veel pinguins, dolfijnen en albatrossen gespot hebt. Geniet vent; het is om voor je het weet....Liefs, kus papa X -
